Do you think some things are just meant to be? 

Alex came across a living teddy bear in her apartment complex. She got curious and began to chat with the guy wearing the costume. She quickly realized that she liked him. He was sweet and funny, making her feel at ease. Alex asked the guy for his number. But she was disappointed to find out he had a girlfriend. What’s more, his girlfriend was Alex’s roommate, Vanessa… who already had a partner. She didn’t want to be the bearer of such news. So, she let the guy into her apartment so he could see everything for himself. He soon found out that Vanessa, who promised to wait for him to return from the military, already found a replacement for him. 

The guy, though hurt, didn’t lose his cool. He told Vanessa that her betrayal wasn’t a big deal since he was already dating Alex. He asked her to play along so he could get his revenge. Alex really wanted to spend more time with the man she liked. But she didn’t want to be a pawn in his game.
