Meghalaya will always be a special place I have visited so far not just for the falls but for the people. I have learnt so much from the way people live and rejoice.
This is a 3min epic trailer of my 6 days road trip in Meghalaya during Winter (0 - 8'C).

About the place -
Meghalaya is a hilly state in northeastern India. The name means "the abode of clouds" in Sanskrit.
The state is the wettest region of India, recording an average of 12,000 mm (470 in) of rain a year. About 70% of the state is forested. The Meghalaya subtropical forests ecoregion encompasses the state; its mountain forests are distinct from the lowland tropical forests to the north and south.
The forests are notable for their biodiversity of mammals, birds, and plants. Meghalaya is one of the Seven Sister States of northeast India. The state of Meghalaya is mountainous, with stretches of valley and highland plateaus, and it is geologically rich. It consists mainly of Archean rock formations.
