Tamna Pay Use Led by Dining, Education (25.04.21.) KCTV Jeju English News

Jeju’s local currency, Tamnaneunjeon, is primarily used at restaurants and education-related businesses, according to recent findings.

The Jeju Provincial Council reported that the total amount spent using Tamnaneunjeon last year reached 270 billion KRW.

By sector, restaurants accounted for the largest share of payments at 30.7%, followed by education services at 18.2%, and daily necessities at 13.1%.

On average, users spent 173,000 KRW per month using local currency, with those in their 30s and 40s making up the largest portion of users.

제주도의회에 따르면
지난해 탐나는전 사용액은 2천 7백억 원으로 집계됐습니다.

업종별 결제 비중은
음식점이 30.7% 로 가장 높았고
교육서비스 18.2%
생활 소비 13.1%로 나타났습니다.

지난해 탐나는전 이용자의
월 평균 사용 금액은 17만 3천원이며
연령대로는 30 , 40대가 가장 많았습니다.
