Over the past decade, the Music Room at Liverpool Philharmonic has welcomed a vast array of artists, nurtured new talent, and collaborated with partners to present a programme that’s exciting, diverse and truly unique – just like our city.
The Music Room first launched at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall in 2015. More than anything we wanted to create an inclusive space and give audiences a quality experience with acts who otherwise may not find a space to perform in the city.
The Music Room is a venue that celebrates all kinds of music, grassroots and emerging, folk and roots, jazz and blues, pop and classical and every genre from the world over.
Working with a diverse range of partners, it provides a vital platform for all kinds of artists from every background and every generation, from up-and-coming talent at the start of their careers through to established touring musicians.
For our 10th birthday, we celebrated with a fortnight of specially curated performances, welcoming back many old friends to help us celebrate a decade of bringing you closer to grassroots music!
