Hungry Gravity is a cinematic freeride comedy shot entirely in the Austrian Alps.

One year later, Bavarian full-time action camper Bernhard Braun is back with another blend of skiing, humor and honest storytelling — this time not only struggling with his English pronunciation, but also wrestling with the modern ski-film demand: “You must tell a story.”

But do we not all just want to watch beautiful skiing?

While planning, preparing, and finally skiing one of Austria’s most remarkable peaks — the Albonakopf in the Arlberg massif — he begins to realize a few unexpected things about life, pressure, failure, and the freedom found in untouched powder.
Influenced by his deep Bavarian roots and a slightly quirky sense of humor, Bernhard reflects on ski etiquette, the mindset of a ski bum, and the art of embracing imperfection.

Hungry Gravity is a playful yet honest life résumé — mixed with the most beautiful powder shots of his season in the Austrian Alps.
