7-year-old Mardasia Forte is described by her mom, Mika, as a rambunctious child who was full of life, had an infectious smile, was happy, and enjoyed going to the trampoline park. She had an older brother. Sadly, on June 13th, 2025, she would wander away from her family home and drown in a retention pond despite her mom's efforts to keep her safe. Empath for Autism has launched a petition to require fencing around bodies of water.
