Kenya Rural Roads Authority is among Government Agencies charged with implementing the Equalization Fund. The equalization Fund has been set up by the Government of Kenya under the relevant provisions of Constitution of Kenya 2010.
The Fund is aimed at improving the quality of life in previously marginalized parts of Kenya so as to achieve parity with the better developed parts of the country. The sectors targeted for direct investment include primary drivers of the economy such as Water provision, Energy, Health and Roads Infrastructure.
