Had an awesome morning on my favorite local trout river with tons of activity. Managed to land what might be my PB fall fish, along with a few really beautiful brown trout — all on the same size 14 Frenchie nymph.
There was a BWO spinner fall going on, plus Tricos, and fish rising everywhere. Missed a few, but it was one of those action-packed autumn days on the water.
📍 Location: Local Trout River, Upstate New York
