Tuesday Morning Forecast for Baton Rouge 10-28-25: Foggy Morning; Scattered T-storms & Cold Front To

Meteorologist Ashley Renee has your 7:45 am forecast. Good morning everyone and happy Tuesday! Hopefully you all enjoyed your Monday. Yesterday morning, Baton Rouge had a morning low of 59 degrees and an afternoon high of 80 degrees. Today will be another decent day. It's foggy in the Greater Baton Rouge area, but the fog will clear later this morning. Skies will be mostly sunny. Highs will be in the low 80s. Today will be a dry day, but a few showers will move through our area tonight and during the overnight hours. The timing appears to be dinner time through about 2 am. The rain will exit out with the cold front. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will move through southeast Louisiana and southwest Mississippi between this evening and about 1-2 am. Since will be scattered activity, everyone might not receive rain. If you have to go into work tonight or if you get off during this time frame, just make sure you have an umbrella so you're prepared. Wednesday morning’s lows will be in the upper 40s to low 50s. Afternoon highs will be in the 60s. Skies will be clear in the morning, but cloud cover will increase again in the evening. It will also be a windy day. NW winds will be around 15-20 mph, but wind gusts could reach 30 mph. Keep that in mind and use extra caution if you have to travel across any bridges. Since winds will be out of the northwest direction, this will be cool breeze that we’re dealing with. Keep your sweater or jacket with you if you think you might get cold from this stronger breeze. Thursday morning will be even cooler than Wednesday morning. Morning lows will be in the 40s! Make sure you and your kids have your coats ready! And definitely make sure your kids who have to wait at the bus stop are layered up well. Thursday will be a nice, sunny day. Afternoon highs will be in the mid 60s. The beautiful weather will continue through the end of the week. Great weather is in store for Halloween, but make sure you have a jacket with you for your trick-or-treating plans. Friday morning will be chilly. Temperatures will be in the 40s for most of our area, but upper 30s will be possible in our southwest Mississippi towns. We'll have plenty of sunshine on Halloween and highs will be in the 60s. Temperatures will fall into the 50s Friday night. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s on Monday.
