Jim Jarmusch and Charles Champlin sit down to discuss Mystery Train, as well as his career and style of film making.
"Champlin on Film" was a television series hosted by renowned film critic Charles Champlin on the Bravo cable channel, where he interviewed film personalities and discussed motion pictures. Champlin was a prominent figure in film journalism, serving as the principal film critic for the Los Angeles Times from 1967 to 1980, before hosting the program and contributing to the paper's arts coverage until his death in 2014. This interview with Jim Jarmusch took place in New York in 1990.
My wife was recently going through some of her old personal VHS tapes taped off TV and rediscovered this interview she had recorded. We're huge fans of Jarmusch's work, so it's a real pleasure to add this to the archive.
