Canning, Fermenting and Baking | A Day In My Homestead Kitchen | Fermented Homestead

Come along with me for a day in the life of my homestead kitchen. We are baking rolls, pressure canning chicken curry and making milk kefir.

4 yellow onions
2T minced ginger
4T garlic
1 gallon chicken broth, divided - It might have been a bit too much
10 pounds chicken thighs - boneless skinless is easiest
6 Tablespoons kosher salt, divided
6 Tablespoons garam masala, divided
enough ghee to cook
4 Tablespoons ground turmeric
2 Tablespoons ground black pepper
3 Tablespoons cayenne
4 Tablespoon tomato powder
3 cans diced tomato
4 cans tomato sauce
Add cream of choice after canning
