Okay, so he thinks he's brave and loves water, but he'll only go in as far as long as he can reach the bottom, which is about 20cm. At three years old this male Beagle 'Bailey' is actually a very good swimmer and a great friend, and always stays close by. He even puts his face underwater. But he doesn't swim, just walks and hops. He's always very, very cautious and very conscientious. There are moments when his feet don't touch the ground and you see him quickly come back to shore. I wonder how long it'll be before he is confident enough to trust himself, and if you're wondering he is already an excellent swimmer, I just don't think he trusts himself, what do you think?
