The Liverpudlians have « You'll Never Walk alone » The Kinks' audience has Lola aka « You'll Never Sing Alone ».I have seen the Kinks perform this song a number of times and Ray never fails in his ambition to let the audience indulge in their fair share of bellowing and turn the venue into a soccer stadium. A fun and practical way of bonding people from every walk of life. How I miss the special atmosphere of the rock concerts in the 70's.
In December of 75 in Chi the word was « bicentennial » fifty years later it seems like most students don't know the date of the Declaration of Independence. This is to explain why Ray calls the audience « Children of the Revolution »
