After college professor Sherman Klump (Eddie Murphy) gets criticized for his weight on a date with his crush, Carla Purty (Jada Pinkett), he slips into a deep sleep, feeling defeated. He dreams he grows into an obese giant and terrorizes the city. Horrified and haunted by the nightmare, Sherman is inspired to test a serum he created that will make him lose 250 pounds within seconds. Will his new look solve his problems?

Film Synopsis:
Eddie Murphy gives the "performances" of his career playing no less than seven roles in this uproarious Jekyll-and-Hyde comedy from Imagine Entertainment. Murphy stars as Dr. Sherman Klump, a kind, "calorically-challenged" genetics professor who longs to shed his 400-pound frame in order to win the heart of beautiful Jada Pinkett.
