The new Fender American Vintage II 1966 Jazzmaster features authentic, period-correct specs including a 7.25” radius bound round-lam rosewood fingerboard with block inlays, a 1966 "C"-shaped neck and a gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Other era-appropriate appointments include Pure Vintage '66 Jazzmaster pickups, a floating tremolo and vintage-style hardware.
We invited guitarist Tim Stewart, whose credits include Lady Gaga, Rihanna, American Idol, Suicidal Tendencies, Janet Jackson and more, to dig into varied tones of this legendary offset guitar, plugged into a VOX AC30C2.
