Table Saw

Un-boxing, assembly,, and test of a self-purchased Rigid brand 10" portable table saw. Available at The Home Depot store. A quick run through unboxing, assembling with provided tools in products box, screwdriver, and slip-joint plyers(channel-locks) and quick first run. The saw is of good quality and price point, would make great addition to any persons in the trades or hobbyist requiring a portable table saw. It would be possible to build a large table and have saw sunk into it, if needing a more permanent setup. the saw has a soft start feature which is great if using generator power or sharing power with other people at jobsites due to limiting the starting power surge to reduce tripping a breaker. The saw blade also has a quick stop of no more than 4 second that reduces the the chance of injury during spin-down. The previous saw I had lasted for over 10 years of abuse and neglect in all weather and conditions, by the build and quality that I see in this one along with using same model for residential and commercial work, it should be with me for that same time or longer. One really nice sturdy part is the guide fence, it's sturdy enough to use a bat being of cast and extruded aluminum and self aligns with less than a 64th inch deviation from parallel to blade.
