After an emotional day tearing the floor of our RV with the slide (see last week’s episode:    • RUINED OUR RV IN OUR 100TH EPISODE | HOW M...   ), we regrouped the next morning and headed out for a hike through the Sawtooth Mountains on Fishhook Trail. The goal was to find the reflection of the mountains on the lake at the end of the hike, but we found an even better spot to view the stunning peaks!

One of our favorite tools for finding cool places is Google Maps. Even though we had read many blogs and looked up other people’s photos on Instagram of spots to visit in Stanley, Idaho, Google Maps revealed how much more beautiful Little Redfish Lake looked from above compared to the other lakes in the area.

So we got up on our last morning at Sunny Gultch National Forest Campground, packed coffee and donuts and our inflatable kayaks and headed out for a morning paddle. After Jess tried to sabotage Corey’s kayak and almost sank him and Lily 😂, we got such an unexpected surprise! The water looked like we were paddling through the Caribbean, and we even found pods of giant fish warming themselves in the shallow water.

With an hour to spare, we headed back, packed up the RV, found a free dump and headed off to our next boondocking spot getting an insane view of the other side of the Grand Tetons!
