CHRIST CHURCH CEMETERY IS ONE OF VIRGINIA'S OLDEST AND MOST HISTORIC CEMETERIES.

Christ Church Cemetery in Middlesex County, Virginia dates back to the middle 1650's. I spoke very briefly with a member of the congregation who told me that they are almost certain the several first generation descendants of the original 1607 Jamestown Settlers are buried in this cemetery. This cemetery is also the resting place of Marine Corps General Chesty Puller.
