What is it?
Lots of McLarens look kinda similar
They all have alpha numeric names
So they can be confusing
This 570 is the entry point
The sport series
600s are super series
But so is the 720 etc
And then the ultimate cars
Like the P1 and Senna, etc

Kind of Audi R8
Kind of 911 Turbo, maybe GT3
This has carbon tub
Weighs ~3300 lbs
Couple hundred lbs less than R8
A little more than GT3
A little less than Turbo
Engine
Engine compartment doesn’t actually open
Little button and compartment for oil and coolant
Same 3.8 TT V8 as the P1 and 650s

Performance
Not HUGE power numbers by today’s standards
But 0-60 in 3 seconds
Remember this is the ENTRY level car
Also does over 200 mph
All the suspension is aluminum

And it’s SPECIAL
Even with this boring black on black spec

You have nose lift on the same stalk as the cluster stuff

The stalks feel uniquely McLaren
The center console buttons
Can’t change mode until you hit activate

Right next to start/stop lol
Push button gear selector…like a Honda…or Maserati lol
PADDLE SHIFTERS are so cool
One single rocker so they shift both ways
The Top
This is the Spider, which adds some weight
But the top is quick
And with the top on it’s like legit nice and quiet
