Broken Top's Tower Couloir is a line I've skied a couple times last year mid winter, but this time was different. Without a cloud in the sky this February Sunday felt like spring corn skiing in May! Broken Top lies in Three Sisters wilderness near Bend, OR. It's 7 mile approach makes it a lesser skied objective in the area but some people will use snowmobiles to cut the 14 mile day in about half (unfortunately I don't have a snowmobile). The day's stats were 14.5 miles and 3,350' of vertical in 5hrs 27min.
