[Suzhou Metro] L7: Reyunqiao → Baidang North 苏州地铁7号线: 惹云桥 → 白荡北

I was in Shanghai for a year-end vacation from 19 Dec 2024 till 30 Dec 2024, and got around the city by the extensive metro system.

On 23 Dec, I went for a short day trip to the neighbouring city of Suzhou by China's high speed rail.

Here is a ride onboard Suzhou Metro Line 7, which, according to Chinese rail enthusiasts, was supposed to be a a fully automated driverless line but was later changed to a semi-automated system using trains formerly from Line 3, with the latter itself being automated and received new driverless trains. L7 was also opened in Dec 2024, just 2 weeks before my trip. All metro trains in Suzhou are of the Type B stock and are manufactured by CRRC Nanjing Puzhen. This is a PM259 model, Set 0734.

Over the next few weeks (or months) I will be sharing videos of the metro trains I took during my Dec 2024 holiday in Shanghai, as well as during my short day trips in Suzhou and Nanjing.
