Welcome to my review of the Star Wars Vintage Collection Imperial Combat Assault Tank or Hovertank as many people call it. This amazing toy vehicle made by Hasbro is the first vehicle to get the Vintage Collection treatment since Hasbro reintroduced the line in 2018. Every Star Wars toy collector has been waiting for this to hit the shelves and here it is in all its glory.
The Hovertank was featured in the Star Wars anthology movie Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The Imperials used it as a way of transporting Kyber Crystals, mined from the planet Jedha. Hasbro have done an amazing job of recreating this vehicle in to a highly detailed Star Wars toy.
In this Star Wars toy review I look at the sculpt and paint application in detail plus look in to the many play features that are included in this amazing Combat Assault Tank.
Unfortunately at the time of this review the Imperial Combat Assault Tank Driver has not been released so I have had to use regular Star Wars figures to show features of this toy. This collector’s item will look incredible in any collection once we have one or two Assault Tank Drivers to add to the vehicle. Recreating the Jedha scenes from Rogue one and having them on display will no doubt be a great addition to any collection.
