This drive will take us over the mountain pass between Sauland and Rjukan. Not only is this a beautiful route, it leads to the incredible underground funicular at Gaustatoppen. After driving the mountain pass, you'll get a tour of Rjukan and the surrounding area, detailing the history of heavy water production and the efforts made during WWII to stop occupying German forces from taking advantage of it.
You'll also be treated to some footage of the underground funicular and the cable car in Rjukan itself. There's a lot to see in this small area.
