I’m sharing this lemon loaf cake recipe which is so simple to make and perfect for beginner bakers. Soft, moist, and so fluffy!! I also decorated it with little lemons and flowers made of American buttercream.

Recipe:
• 4 eggs
• 200g margarine or butter
• 200g sugar
• 200g self-raising flour
• 2 tbsp Greek yoghurt
• Zest of 1 lemon
• Juice of ½ lemon
• 1 tsp vanilla
Glaze:
• 130g icing sugar
• 1 tbsp lemon juice
• 1–2 tsp water (as needed)
Decor:
• American buttercream used to pipe flowers and lemons
Bake at 160–170°C for 55-60
I used a 9×5 inch loaf tin
