This journey begins on Mauldeth Road West, turning right onto Withington Road and then left onto Wilbraham Road. We pass through Chorlton-cum-Hardy, cross the Barlow Moor Road junction, and continue straight ahead until reaching a fork, where we join Edge Lane.
After passing Longford Park to the right, we are technically in Stretford, then we turn around near Kings Road and head back along Wilbraham Road, passing through Chorlton once again.
The route continues over the old station bridge and along to Alexandra Road South, finishing near Whalley Range High School.
Landmarks include: Gita Bhavan Hindu Temple, St. Werburgh's Church, Morison's, Woolworth's, Lloyds Hotel and the Conservative Club.
