This plant stopped growing for almost 6 months — and the reason was the soil. 🌱
When I purchased this plant from the nursery, it was planted only in cocopeat. While cocopeat is fine for short-term use, it’s not suitable for long-term growth. Over time, it holds too much moisture, lacks nutrients, and restricts root development.
In this video, I’m repotting the plant step by step and explaining:
Why nursery cocopeat can stop plant growth
How to safely remove a plant from its pot
How to check roots and identify healthy vs unhealthy roots
How to plant into a new pot the right way
First watering and aftercare tips after repotting
If you’ve ever noticed slow growth, no new leaves, or tired-looking plants after bringing them home from a nursery, this video will help you understand exactly what to do.
👉 Potting Mix Video:
I’ve shared a detailed video on how I prepare my well-draining potting mix on this channel. The link is in the description — make sure to check it out for best results.
🌿 After Repotting Care Tip:
Keep the plant in bright indirect light, avoid fertilizing for at least two weeks, and allow the roots to settle naturally.
