The first Shanghai International Light Festival took place on September 19, 2024. As the only content-focused official organizer, Hantang Culture launched a new IP "Light Up! Shanghai Modern", which energized several city landmarks and refreshed the fascinating night view of China's glamorous fashion capital through cutting-edge technologies, such as 3D projection mapping, dynamic lighting and low-altitude digital imagery.
On the opening ceremony at the Shanghai Exhibition Center, the show "Light Up! Shanghai Modern" presented a glittering visual feast unveiled in three chapters: "The Beauty of Nature", "Exquisite Craftsmanship" and "Urban Chicness", paying tribute to fashion culture and lifestyle of Shanghai as an international metropolis. The show culminated by outlining the architecture of the Shanghai Exhibition Center. As an urban landmark and the carrier of a collective memory, the building served as the debut stage of "Light Up! Shanghai Modern", epitomizing the city's unwavering dedication to innovation and art of living.
