My group of car enthusiast friends have been discussing doing a Dyno Day. Soto decided to take his BMW 5 series M Sport to Kassel Performance in York, PA and a bunch of us had the chance to participate in in and learn from the process. It made Pat want to explore improving the performance on the BMW i8. He compares the B38 engine in the Mini Cooper to that same engine, tuned for the BMW i8 and the gains are significant. Is it really worth it to tune an already performance tuned engine from the factory? What are the benefits and risks? What are your thoughts?
