"The album version of the song, "Fear (Of The Unknown)" is my favorite version and since there isn't a proper extended version where the song sound is kept intact and not the "House" version that was made and pushed inspired me to make my "Matisse Mix". The first few minutes is instrumental because I wanted to get into the MUSIC and sonic arrangement without any vocals to pull focus. I took the original music video and re-edited it to fit the audio mix. Having just finished listening to drummer Budgie's brilliant, deep and emotional Memoir, "The Absence", I've been inspired to take several Siouxsie and the Banshees songs and make extended mixes of them.
