Making a decorative sock on a Singer MOD155

Pattern.. (decorative sock )
1. Cast on 32 needles, knit a turn up cuff. I did 24 rows and hung the hem.
2. Knit 24 rows
3. Pull half the needles (opposite carriage) to hold.
4. Place carriage on hold and short row till you have 1/3 (of the half) of the needles in work.
5. Reverse till all needles on carriage side back in work, take off hold and knit one row.
6. knit 24 rows
7. Repeat step 3 - 5
8. Sew toe to instep and side seam.
This is a standard sock and just a mixture of instructions that are all over the internet. :)
Notes:
Make sure you have the same side short rowing both times. Doing opposite sides will cause the toe seam to be under the foot.
When short rowing, I always manipulate the needle furthest from the carriage and wrap under the out of work needle closest the carriage. stops holes.
