AI Michael Jackson - Midnight Lover

Midnight Lover is here! This one was certainly a big challenge to get done effectively. I needed a proper song to try and test out working to tape, I figured this old demo would be good to dust off for it. I've been making music digitally for years, switching to a fully outboard analog workflow was much more of an adjustment than I anticipated but it was very fun to do so. There's definitely things that I need to get the hang of, but I hope the efforts come across decently in this track!

Unfortunately, as usual, YouTube's compression did some things to the mix - notibly lowered the volume significantly. I tried multiple uploads to try and counter this, but unfortunately raising the mix volume anymore would just cause distortion.

As promised, there will be a BTS video on Znop Extra with some clips and montages of me putting this song together on tape within a week or two. There's a lot clips where I essentially vow to never make music again due to the frustration, so I hope you enjoy that. I certainly did not.
