On the 17th of February 2024, VH-TJJ landed on an oval on Sydney's North Shore, responding to a car accident on the Pacific Highway. Luckily the patient was stabilised by ground paramedics and taken to hospital by road ambulance, meaning the rescue helicopter was not needed.
Toll rescue operates 8 purpose built AW139 helicopters, covering all of NSW and the ACT, although the service primarily operates south of the Hawkesbury River.
