2002 WRX to show how it stumbles when it tries to settle back into an idle after being revved up. I just bought the car and i am trying to get it to run right.
Hybrid engine 2.5Sti block, 2.0L heads, swap done about 15k miles ago.
750CC injectors
OEM Sti turbocharger
Reflash tuned by PRE in Portland, OR
Plugs look good and are gapped correctly
engine has great compression in all cylinders
Have been told it is an air-leak in the induction system, but I have pressure tested it with my air compressor (to 10psi) and it is holding very well.
This stumble occasionally leads to misfire codes by the ECU.
Gets a lot worse when driving, especially in stop/go traffic. sometimes it wont idle at all and car has to be throttled to keep it alive.
Help me fix this problem!
