Birmingham City are BACK! Peterborough United v Birmingham City Post Match Reflection

BIRMINGHAM CITY ARE PROMOTED! Yes, the Blues secured promotion back to the EFL Championship at the first time of asking with a 2-1 victory at the Weston Homes Stadium against Peterborough United. Blues were backed by over 4000 travelling Blue Noses who enjoyed a fantastic promotion party with the players and staff after the final whistle. First half goals from Alfie May and Taylor Gardner Hickman proved to be decisive and took the Blues back into the EFL Championship. Kwame Poku scored for the Posh in between the two Blues goals, but the night was all about the Blues and their promotion. Both teams meet again on Sunday at Wembley in the EFL Trophy final in what promises to be another fantastic match up.
