ranking every clc song

clc had the misfortune of debuting between two really popular cube girl groups (4minute & (g)i-dle) and in a period where cube was struggling a bit. they have always been criminally underrated, which is such a shame because they have a lot of really great tracks. i've been following them since debut and the girls have always delivered but unfortunately just never got the attention to really make it big in the industry. nevertheless i wish the all the girls a successful future in whatever they choose to do, and here are my rankings of their Korean discography!

for a brief history of the group, read below:

clc was a 7 member group under cube entertainment. they debuted in march 2015 with five members - seunghee, seungyeon, yujin, sorn & yeeun - with 'pepe' a jazzy, retro-style song with a bright concept. in 2016, the group added 2 new members - hong kong native elkie and eunbin, a popular contestant on the survival show produce 101. in 2017, the group dramatically switched concepts from a cute and innocent concept to a girl crush concept with the release of 'hobgoblin'. clc continued to release tracks until their disbandment in may 2022.

as for what the members are doing now - seunghee and eunbin are currently actresses. yujin appeared on the 2021 survival show 'girls planet 999' and ended up debuting in the winning group 'kep1er', who debuted in january 2022. sorn and seungyeon both signed under wild entertainment group, and sorn debuted as a solo artist. yeeun is also a solo artist under superbell company and is scheduled to join mnet's new survival show 'queendom puzzle. elkie is currently pursuing a solo career in china.
