Huhugam Heriatage Center "May The Fourth Be With You" Social Pow Wow 2024!!!

Firstly, I did not record The best dressed star wars short special!!!!! I apologize to those who were clicking on this video for the star wars pow wow content!!!!!!!!!!! I thought this was going to be a kid's candy event until halfway into the special.

Today was my first time at The Huhugam Heritage Center, and I'm already planning to come back for a museum tour sometime soon! The weather was scorching hot at 94°F with plenty of direct sunlight. I've learned from past experiences that recording from the opposite side of the circle, away from the sun, yields better video quality. Last year at the Winslow Pow Wow, I ended up getting sunburnt to a crisp from sitting in direct sunlight for better shots. Today, I wisely sought shade under someone's canopy and only ventured into the sun when necessary.

The May the Fourth Be With You Pow Wow is a Social Pow Wow organized by Three Precious Miracles, a charity foundation dedicated to helping Native American children and children in foster care by providing basic living necessities and culturally appropriate support. It was heartwarming to see all the children participating in the dances!
