We continue our custom front mount motorcycle carrier for the Honda Monkey and get the frame work laid out, welded together and start our first test mounting.

This is a custom fabrication project for my own use that will be a front mounted motorcycle carrier for the front of my Ram truck that will carry my Honda Monkey motorcycle. I was thinking of a solution to help carry the bike in a way that does not involve having to load the bike in the bed of the truck and when I saw many others using this method in Colorado and Utah I knew this was the way I wanted to go. This will be used when traveling and will allow me to use my bedcover and the bed for other storage needs.
Follow along as I share the ideas, welding, machining, testing fitting and eventual final product for this one off project.
