For years, “Cello Akademie Rutesheim“ has been awarding a full scholarship for the masterclasses to a particularly talented prizewinner at the national competition “Jugend musiziert”.
In 2019 the full scholarship went to 14-year-old cellist Friederike Herold. She was then an active participant in Prof. Jens Peter Maintz's master class and was also selected by all Professors to perform David Popper's “dance of the elves” at the academy concert.
She was accompanied by the outstanding pianist Julia Okruashvili.
