Formula B know a thing or two about great tone, whether it’s classic fuzz, vibe or dirt, this company out of Italy can deliver the tone in your head with a pedal that’s compact and affordable. The Super Plexi offers an overdrive section that is closely related to the JTM-45 using MOSFETS instead of tubes. This circuit is a classic, biting overdrive tone with a simple control set that goes from touch sensitive and bluesy Marshall to crunchy sustain with the right amount of top end to cut through. To add versatility, an individual clean boost section and order toggle switch lets you place Boost before or after the drive, giving you the option of louder lead boosts or crunchier, compressed drive tones. The Formula B Super Plexi is handmade in Italy and is offered in both horizontal and vertical form factors to suit your pedalboard and both effects are wired for true bypass.
