The Gesualdo Six mit Musik von den britischen Inseln aus Renaissance und Gegenwart zu Gast beim Festival Europäische Kirchenmusik Schwäbisch Gmünd 🎶.
Die Engländer sind zu Recht stolz auf ihre feine, geschmeidige Motettenkunst der Renaissance. Seit dem 19. Jahrhundert orientieren sich Komponisten an diesem Traditionsschatz und schaffen neue Vokalmusik, die raffiniert – eben „very british“ – weltweit starke Resonanz findet 🙏 🎼.
2014 gegründet, macht das großartige junge Ensemble um den Chorleiter und Komponisten Owain Park international Furore. Das Debütalbum „English Motets“ (2018) schaffte es sofort auf die Bestenliste der deutschen Schallplattenkritik 👏.
