Crafting, Christmas Cards & Train of Lights | Daily Vlog | Sat 6th December (2025)
A cosy morning of crafting sees me almost finish the jacket I've been working on—just a few final touches to go. I popped to the post office but the queue was out the door, so the Christmas cards will have to wait for another day. Later, I caught the bus to meet Glenn, and we ended the evening watching the magical Train of Lights roll past.

Rainy-Day Baking, Mince Pies & Friends | Daily Vlog | Sun 7th December (2025)
With the rain pouring nonstop, it became the perfect stay-at-home Sunday. I spent the day baking, including some mince pies made with shortbread instead of pastry—definitely a winner. In the afternoon, Kim and Steve came round. We chatted for hours, sampled some gin, and even did a little taste test between two different bottles.

Post Office Queues, Stamp Shock & A Dinner Flop | Daily Vlog | Mon 8th December (2025)
I braved the post office first thing — and oh my goodness, the queue!Eventually, I got to the counter… only to spend £50 on stamps. Honestly, some people dream of designer handbags, but I’d be quite happy with an unlimited stamp budget.
In the evening, I went to try a new exercise class. After chatting with the instructor, we agreed the Monday session would suit me better, so I’ll give that a go next week.
Dinner, however… was not a triumph.Mr Warner and I both gave it a 4 out of 10, and that was being generous!Here’s to better meals tomorrow. 🍽️✨

Totnes Christmas Market, Volunteering & Bob the Bus | Daily Vlog | Tues 9th December (2025)
It’s another day of relentless rain, the kind that makes everything feel a bit grey and soggy. Glenn took a trip to Brixham to check on the boat but headed back early — Totnes Christmas Market was on in the evening, and he wanted to make sure he got a parking space.
I worked all day, and then headed to the charity shop to help with late-night shopping. The town felt so festive. Meanwhile, Glenn did a volunteer shift driving Bob the Bus.

Christmas Shopping in Exeter | Daily Vlog | Wed 10th December (2025)
We take the train to Exeter to finish our Christmas shopping. Glenn starts the day a little grumpy — train travel isn’t his favourite — but I love it. The journey from Totnes to Exeter is gorgeous, with the tracks running so close to the sea.Once we arrive, Glenn perks up and we have a wonderful stroll around the Christmas market. It’s festive, busy, twinkly, and full of delicious smells. A fabulous day out in the end.

Postcode Prizes & a Mystery Parcel | Daily Vlog | Thurs 11th December (2025)
A full workday for both of us, but the postman really brightened things up. I discovered I’d won two pairs of socks in the Postcode Lottery — honestly, what a treat! Then Glenn received a mysterious parcel addressed to him.
After a bit of guessing and speculation, he opened it to find a gift from Harry — Mat Armstrong merch, from one of Glenn’s favourite YouTube channels. One very happy Mr Warner!

Zumba Energy & a Cosy Friday Night In | Daily Vlog | Fri 12th December (2025)
I didn’t sleep well last night and felt groggy this morning. Thankfully, Zumba worked its magic and really woke me up. In the afternoon, I volunteered at the charity shop — I was flagging a bit by then, but it was still a lovely shift.
Back home, I made a big bowl of popcorn, curled up on the sofa, and listened to my audiobook. Exactly the kind of gentle Friday night I needed.
