How to use OpenSea's On-Chain Enforcement Tool
Recently we’ve seen a lot of the major NFT marketplaces start to make creator fees, also known as royalties, completely optional.
The main source of income for most NFT projects has always been from royalties, so this change has been a big deal in the NFT community, especially for creators.
Lucky for us, OpenSea has finally announced the first step of their solution.
They have created a tool that will be integrated into your smart contract which will prevent marketplaces who don’t enforce royalties from being able to trade your NFT.
This solution is only for new projects since it has to be integrated into your smart contract, but OpenSea will release a solution for pre-existing projects in December 2022.
