We finished last week with Cash joining us in the shop and we focused on body filler work on the passenger side — officially turning the old back door into a quarter panel and locking in the 2-door conversion on the 62 Dodge Dart.
But, after Tuesday’s episode, a lot of you asked the same question:
How did Chad actually connect the two pieces of the chopped door on the driver side to make that quarter panel?
We did film it — and tonight’s episode shows exactly how it was done.
Before we move on to the inside work of that back “door,” we’re taking a step back to show the progress piece that explains how those two sections were joined, shaped, and made solid. We know the finished result was already shown last week, but this video fills in the missing step and answers the questions many of you had.
This is the real process. Sometimes we jump ahead to keep things moving, and sometimes it’s worth going back to show the how, not just the result.
Thanks for watching, asking great questions, and following along as we turn this four-door into a true two-door build.
