In 1993, a group of wiley Canadians, with the help of some very talented Americans, decided to build and race an NHRA nitro funny car.
Their first stop was several days at Darrell Gwynn Racing’s brand new race shop in Miami, Florida in early March of ‘93.
There, they worked out the new car bugs, under the watchful eyes of Darrell & Jerry Gwynn, as well as legendary Crew Chief Ken Veney.
This was the start of a trip that would see the team head to Moroso Motorsports Park (now Bradenton Motorsports Park) to make the first passes on the car and complete the licensing process, followed by a spectacular debut at the Gatornationals.
