#SaraiAmanatKhan is a residence located 40 kilometers from #Amritsar, known for being the home of Amanat Khan, the calligrapher of the world-renowned Taj Mahal. The sarai, which means "inn" or a place for a short stay in local dialects, is a caravan sarai, known for its glazed tile decorations, a mosque with Arabic inscriptions, and two ornate gateways, the "Lahori Darwaza" and the "Dilli Darwaza." The sarai also features a horseshoe-shaped tomb with four minarets and an inscription from Amanat Khan stating that the sarai was erected for the comfort of God's best creation.
