Directed and edited by Marcus Howard. The remarkable story of the Poole brothers who fought in 1916 is not widely known. Captain Christopher "Kit" Poole was second in command in St Stephens Green alongside his brother Patrick. Christopher was heavily involved in training and marching the Irish Citizen Army. Vincent Poole took part at Annesley Bridge, around the GPO and at Moore Street. They were both expert riflemen as a result of their previous experience in the British army. 100 years ago they fought for their country, 100 years later, their grandsons and great grandson are fighting to keep their memory alive.
