The third-year undergraduate studio hosts a virtual conversation with Thomas Padmanabhan, of the Zurich-based practice. Lütjens Padmanabhan’s curious allegiance to the 1:20 model informs how their buildings are designed and yields surprisingly literal translations and tectonic expression. Padmanabhan will discuss how models and model-making factor into their design process.
