Zine Culture in India & How they expand Creative Horizons

In this video, I’m talking about how zines have become one of my favourite low-pressure, freeing mediums of expression and how just consuming them or trying to make your own can honestly help you break out of a creative block. I’m also taking you through my zine haul from the Bombay Zine Fest and sharing all the little discoveries, ideas, feelings and creative sparks I picked up along the way. If you’ve been feeling stuck or burnt out creatively, zines might be exactly the reset you need; they’re raw, imperfect, honest, and remind you that art doesn’t have to be “high effort” to be meaningful. So come hang out with me as I flip through everything I got, talk about creativity, DIY publishing, indie artists, and hopefully inspire you to pick up a zine or even make one of your own.
