From ER visits to a 300lb deadlift — this is my story.
For 20 years, I battled chronic low back pain. I’ve been through steroid injections, pain meds, and near-surgery recommendations… until I said enough is enough. In this video, I share how I went from crawling on the floor at 20 years old to deadlifting 300lbs pain-free at 33 — all while raising two kids, coaching PT students, and training for my first marathon.
I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy, and I’ve learned the hard way that healing takes more than just science — it takes patience, trust, and strategy. After a full 2-year break from deadlifting, I rebuilt from the ground up. I started at 65 lbs and slowly progressed, week by week, with zero ego.
