The first casualty of the merged Six Flags chain has arrived. On May 1st, 2025, it was announced that Six Flags America will close following the end of the 2025 season. In some ways this isn't terribly surprising, because Six Flags has never put much investment into this park, but it is surprising that it's happened so soon. What could happen to the coasters? What does this mean for the chain?
